We are delighted to announce that Wheeebo, our innovative water mobility experience, has been introduced at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, a prestigious luxury resort on Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines. Plantation Bay is famed for its expansive saltwater lagoon and unique resort layout that integrates water features into the guest experience.
World's First Canopy-Equipped Wheeebo
In this deployment, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa became the first location in the world to introduce Wheeebo equipped with a canopy. Designed with Cebu's warm, tropical climate in mind, the canopy provides shade from direct sunlight, allowing guests to enjoy a cooler and more comfortable water-walking experience even under the tropical sun.
This innovation enables longer and more relaxed rides compared to conventional water activities, making Wheeebo accessible to a wider range of guests regardless of age or physical condition. Gliding gently across the lagoon while staying shaded offers a new way to experience the resort — a calm and scenic "walk on water" uniquely suited to tropical destinations.
