In such cases, we select processors based on appropriate criteria and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision, including contractual obligations regarding confidentiality, purpose limitation, security measures, and restrictions on sub-processing.

8. Joint Use

We do not currently conduct joint use of personal data as defined under the APPI. If we commence joint use, we will disclose the categories of data, scope of joint users, purposes of joint use, and the name of the party responsible for management, and update this Policy accordingly.

9. Cross-Border Transfers

We may transfer Personal Information to recipients located outside Japan, including to countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as Japan. In such cases, we will obtain consent where required, and take measures required by the APPI, such as ensuring that the recipient maintains an equivalent level of protection, and providing information about the foreign country's data protection system and the recipient's security measures upon request.

We implement organizational, human, physical, and technical security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of Personal Information. Measures include assignment of responsible personnel, access controls, training, monitoring, encryption in transit, and other safeguards appropriate to risk.

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of use or as required by laws and regulations, and will delete or anonymize it without undue delay once such purposes have been achieved.
